Crave Alert! Brownie Brittle’s New Flavors

Sheila G.’s Brownie Brittle is a popular line of addictive cookie brownies. Most of the line’s products are USDA Organic, Non-GMO and kosher. That means you can indulge in these sweet treats with far less guilt! Sheila G. Mains, a Palm Beach, FL, native and the founder of the delectable desserts, has been a commercial brownie baker since 1992, previously owning the phone number: 1-800-BROWNIE. She has been a long-time partner of Cookies For Kids’ Cancer, providing product and profits to the cause of solving childhood cancer.

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Mains about her business, and she’s got something in store just for the holidays!

What came first–the concept for Brownie Brittle or the approach to creating a non-GMO dessert?
Sheila Mains: Definitely the concept for Brownie Brittle. It was our desire to meet the needs of our consumers that motivated us to create a non-GMO version of our Brownie Brittle.

Where did the idea for holiday flavors come from?
When it comes to new flavors, we brainstorm as a team. Some ideas are based on what’s trending in the industry, others on fan requests, and the rest–my wild imagination.

Do you have a favorite of the new flavors?
My latest addiction is our holiday Brownie Brittle Bites. Both flavors–Milk Chocolate Caramel and Peppermint Dark Chocolate. When it comes to our non-holiday flavors, our Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Sea Salt is my personal favorite.

New flavors aside, what is coming up for the brand?
Our Thindulgent sandwich cookies! These aren’t your ordinary sandwich cookies–they’re crispy, melt in your mouth, “gotta-have-the-entire-box” gourmet sandwich cookies.

When not busy with work, how do you like to spend your free time?
Being with my kids and grandkids. It doesn’t matter what we’re doing, just being together is all that matters.

What is your next planned vacation or trip?
I’m more of a homebody. And because I travel so much for business, the idea of getting on a plane for a fun trip just doesn’t appeal to me. I do enjoy road trips, and hope to get down to the Florida Keys after the holidays.
