A Look At Some Of New Orleans’ Upscale Culinary Offerings

New Orleans might be the city that never stops, yet the city is also known for its laid-back vibe. The Crescent City is one of those places that offers a different experience every time you visit it, and there is never a shortage of great culinary offerings when you are in town.

The “New Orleans Flavor by Loews Hotel” program recently unveiled some of its recommendations, and below are some of those highlights:

Blacklane Fleet – Riding from the airport in a chauffeured car from the Blacklane Fleet is a luxury experience in and of itself. It’s a first-class trip from the moment their ultra-professional drivers pick you up until they drop you off at the sumptuous Loews New Orleans Hotel. And once you’re inside, a single look around will tell you exactly what you’re in for– an opulent and memorable experience in one of the greatest cities in the world.

Loews New Orleans Hotel – The hotel’s lobby is graced with gorgeous stained glass windows and a stylish decor that’s provocative but never forbidding. The amenities are also incredible. This includes great concierge services, a heated pool, and delectable local spirits at the Swizzle Stick Bar. Recently the hotel earned placements on the US News & World Report‘s “Top 10 Hotels in Louisiana” and Travel + Leisure’s “Top 50 Large City Hotels” lists.

– Local Cuisine – The program specifically recommends artist James Michalpoulos’s Old New Orleans Rum, the traditional handcrafted bread from the Bellgarde Bakery, the authentic European-style gelato with the Piccola Gelateria, the smoky genius of the BlueOak BBQ, the cocktails and delicious seafood of Cru at the Pythian Market, and the incredible wine selection at Bar 1908, as also located in the Pythian Market.
